INTERNATIONAL INDOOR ATHLETICS COMPETITIONS
9 & 10 January 2020, Tehran – Aftab Enghelab Sport Complex
The International Indoor Athletics Competitions was held in Tehran (Iran) from January 9 to 10.
Kyrgyz athletes also took part in this tournament.
In general, athletes from six countries gathered in Tehran. Six athletes from Kyrgyzstan participated under the guidance of head coach Andrei Samolovov.
Following the results of the two-day competition, our athletes won four medals.
Gulshana Satarova won the silver medal in the 1500 meters race (4 minutes 49.0 seconds), she also won the gold medal in the 3000 meters race (10 minutes 10.14 seconds).
Eva Kadyrova won the bronze medal in the 60m race (7.70 seconds).
Nursultan Keneshbekov brought another bronze medal to the national team’s piggy bank in the 3000 meters race. He covered the distance in 8 minutes 34.0 seconds.
